Tell me about buttonholes not being in the right place! I used to knit a lot many years ago, mostly mohair but it is not something I fancy doing, preferring crochet where there is only 1 stitch to worry about! She looks happy in her tent!
ReplyDeleteHmm can smell those hyacinths from here, gorgeous. oops about the button hole ,a lovely warm cardi and black and white wool wonder what that is for. Aww what a sweetie in her tent.
ReplyDeleteIsn't she so cute in her tent - gorgeous :) Pity about the button hole - I've done that myself, very annoying. I'll be interested to hear what you think of the book.
ReplyDeleteQuite jealous of that tent. I want one. :) Hyacinths are beautiful and a great choice for H. I have always meant to read that book. X
ReplyDeleteLike most knitters I too have ended up with a misaligned buttonhole. I stitched it closed and then stretched and forced and new one in the correct place!! I have read your book choice too and not only enjoyed it immensely but ended up with a greater understanding of Asperger's.
ReplyDeleteWhat a super tent for the litle one. Love the hyacinths. I wonder what you will knit with the black and white wool:)
ReplyDeleteLovely photos and stories Julie, I could 'smell' the hyacinths as soon as I saw the image xx thank you for joining in x
ReplyDeleteGreat photos Julie. Your youngest grandchild looks like a very happy little girl and contented in her play tent! x
ReplyDeleteGreat choices this month Julie, your granddaughters tent is fabulous, she obviously thinks so too.
ReplyDeleteYour space invaders cardi is a triumph...the button hole a minor detail.
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures; knitting is not something I can do and that cardigan looks very impressive.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos & such a cutie in that last one. I do like your take on hole. Take care.
